Although I really love this adhesive.......

- 1/11/2012

After using it for several weeks, I developed a nasty allergic reaction to it even after cleaning my falsies thoroughly after each use. :-( I was so happy with this product, but now must try the new Duo and if that ends up causing a reaction I may just have to give up on falsies. :-( :-(

Not Revved Up for Revlon

- 12/10/2011

Having concluded my personal study on latex vs. non-latex adhesives, I didn't care for this even if I'd decided to play for the non-latex team.

The glue definitely dries very fast, almost too fast. For me, less is more with lash glue, so I don't normally have a gloppy mess needing a lot of time to dry before I can apply. So, I'd definitely prefer those extra few seconds to get my placement exactly right, rather than having to stick it exactly right on contact. There's no way I can stand up to that kind of pressure first thing in the morning!

The brush thingie is ok, definitely better than a plain ol' squeeze tube, but I'd much prefer to swipe a hard applicator than a soft brush. A soft brush on a soft lash strip doesn't always work the way it should. Yet I fear the glue would have gotten hard and dried fast in that tube - had I kept it.

I ultimately tossed it because the hold, too, was mediocre. The glue isn't very flexible and my corners kept popping off. The final deal breaker was trying to remove this glue from my strip lashes. Fuhgeddaboudit! Had to throw the lashes away. If it had held that well while the lashes were on my eyes, this might have been a whole different review.

Great Adhesive!

- 10/26/2011

I'm relatively new to wearing falsies and was having a very difficult time with the latex adhesives. No matter how patient I was, two blinks and the lashes would move even when the glue was fairly dry. And the latex lumped and clumped making it look like I had warts on my eyelids! YUK!

This adhesive, however, is the best. Being a little older and rarely using eyeshadow and not wearing eyeliner at all, Revlon's adhesive allows me to get my falsies on quicker (this glue dries mercifully faster than the latex glues) with a lot less product and it dries absolutely invisible. Even though I'm a beginner, I have been able to consistently apply without the need for eyeliner.

Would highly recommend this product!

first class

glue is perfect for keeping lashes in place and dries very quickly. would definitely recommend it.

Best adhesive I've tried!

- 7/30/2010

I am a huge fan of falsies, but I could never find a glue that would hold up all day. This product is amazing, and it lasts all day and night! The product goes on a neon purple color but dries clear (it does NOT dry purple). I love the product and will definitely not go back to any other product.

Nice brush but glue needs work

- 7/23/2010

The brush makes it really easy to apply it to strip lashes but the color dries a purplish color and really sticks out once you step outside in the sunlight. It may work better on black eyelashes, I tried it on brown lashes.

anyone tried this?

- 2/17/2010

I dont have latex sensetivity, did anyone tried this? I am looking for something that is gentle, easy to remove, and most of all(safe and gentle on natural lashes)
