\u201cI am so pro-false-eyelashes!\u201d says Tejada on the phone from L.A.. \u201cThey are my favorite thing in life! I think that they can completely change a look.\u201d Tejada uses eye popping\u00a0false lashes\u00a0on Kylie Jenner to accentuate the eyes, which he explains become an instant focal point once applied.<\/p>\n

Start small\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAn easy way of going for a first-timer [is] an accent lash. It\u2019s simply a corner lash<\/a> and you place it at the corner of your eye. It makes it a lot easier because it\u2019s not a full strip, so it doesn\u2019t have to wrap around the whole eye,\u201d Starting small is a good way to go if you normally don’t use false eye lashes. He points out it’s a skill you have to perfect with practice. \u00a0\u201cFaux lashes is\u00a0a lot simpler to put on.\u201d\u00a0 Tejada points out.<\/p>\n

Method<\/strong><\/p>\n

To\u00a0 perfect your base and eye make-up without disturbing the positioning of the lash . Tejada says \u00a0\u201cMy process is I\u2019ll do my entire glam application and right at the last point of my makeup application I\u2019ll go in and apply my lashes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u200bAlso secure the false lashes with glue , a steady hand and the right tools. Tejada’s favorite adhesive is Duo adhesive<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Placement<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

Another key\u00a0 point is positioning the falsies lashes. “You want to make sure it\u2019s as close to the lash line as possible, but not on the lashes,\u201d\u00a0 Which getting the\u00a0 falsies as close as possible to the lash line keeps the look as natural looking as you can, Tejada explains.<\/p>\n

What to buy<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

\u201cFor human hair<\/a> I like using Ardell.\u201d\u00a0 That is Tejadas preference, and for missing spaces or as fillers. Tejada mentions using individual lashes. \u201cThey sell those everywhere; in every drugstore you can buy little individuals and place them where needed, and that\u2019ll fully spice up a look for you.\u201d<\/p>\n
